Miller, David A. – passed away Saturday, April 26, 2013 at Physicians Regional Medical Center-St. Mary’s. He was born March 17, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to Edward and Leanna Miller. Preceded in death by parents; 3 brothers; 4 sisters. Survivors: devoted wife, Gwendolyn Chaney-Miller; daughters, Yahphette (Marcus) Walton, Shawna Chaney, Felicia (Kurt) Mills; sons, Kwabena and Gary (Lejuan) Miller, and Perry (Whitney) Chaney, Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter;1 brother, Marvin (Pat) Miller; sister, Charlotte Thompson; several other relatives and special friends too numerous to name. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon with funeral services to follow at New Vision Church, 1608 Midpark Road, Knoxville, TN 37921 with Dr. Charles Sanderfur officiating. Interment to follow at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway with full military honors. Services to conclude with full dove release. Hood, TX; a sister and brother, Ida Walker-Rushton, Detroit, MI and Spence (Cheryl)Walker, Newark, NJ; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013Hall, Anthony “Tony” – departed his life on April 23, 2013 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born on May 8, 1959 to Katherine Hall and the late James Morgan. Preceded in death by father, James Morgan; sister, Antoinette (Cherry Hall). Tony was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed working and spending time with his crew buddies. Tony was the oldest of six. He leaves to cherish fond memories: wife, Lisa Hall; three daughters, LaShea Hall, Houston, TX, LaTrina Hall, Memphis, TN and LaTempise; grandchildren, Rayne, Briannny, Lela and Terrel; devoted mother, Katherine Hall; brothers, Reno (Sophia) and John Hall: sisters, Doretha and LaTasha Hall; devoted friend, Tony Hutchenson; other relatives and friends too numerous to name. Sunday, April 14th, 2013Crippen-Smith, Ethel Roberta – of Brooks Road, Knoxville passed into eternal rest on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her residence. Daughter of the late Charlie and Magnolia Smith. She was employed at The University of Tennessee Medical for many years in the Newborn Nursery where she acquired many friends. She also worked for CAS Walker and The Sanford of Motor Products.
