Slay, Margaret Ann – went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by mother, Daisy Slay; daughters, Maelene and Alisha Slay; nephew, John Word, Jr., and Joseph Mobley, Jr. Survived by children, Steven D. (Diedrea) Allen, Tim Allen, Princess (Eugene) Brown and Charma Allen; nine siblings, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 12: 00 with funeral service to follow at Freedom Fellowship Christian Church 4310 Papermill Drive, with Pastor Derick Wakefield officiating.  Interment to immediately follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Services to conclude with full dove release.
