Mobley, Joseph L. Jr. – departed this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at home. He is preceded by his father, Joseph Legene Mobley, Sr., grandmother, Daisy Slay; cousin, John H. Word, Jr. He is survived by wife, Kristy Mobley; children, Krystian and Joseph L. Mobley, III; mother, Surlena Slay; sisters, Josette (Luther) Dobbins and Bertina (Curtis) Cannon and Jamie Joiner; brother, Ralph McPeak-Slay; devoted cousin, Timothy Allen; a host of close cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Unity Mortuary Chapel from 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with funeral services to follow. Reverend Steve Simpson officiating. Interment to be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Governor John Sevier Highway with military honors. Services to conclude with full dove release.
