Chesney, Marie Antoinette (Angie)– age 49 of Knoxville, passed away on April 7, 2011. She is preceded death by her father Louis Chesney, grandmother Katherine Reece, grandfather Samuel Reece and aunt Shirley Tate. Survivors to include a very devoted mother Beatrice Chesney; a loving sister Carolyn Chesney; one brother John Chesney; three devoted nieces: Normitha (Bo) Queener, Charmika (Greg) Elder and LaDawnna (Daniel) Agnew; two nephews Carl and Johnathan Chesney. To cherish her memory, “Angie” leaves behind her little dumplings, three great nephews: Sidney and Asad Salaam and Tyson Chesney and a great niece Jade Marie. Other survivors include aunts: Margaret McCannelly, Francis Senter, Gwen and Eurine Chesney; one uncle Paul Bolton; one great uncle Ernest (Mattie) Reece; a host of cousins to include Doris Tate, Marlon, Brittney, Dre, Jada, Gwen, Mary, Teddy, Jenny, Dedra, Ploozie and Tameka; a host of friends to include Cantrell, Vaughn, Chippy, Terry, Mrs. Mig Bailey, Ella, Mary, Leonard, the Queener family and residents of Walter P. Taylor Homes. A special thank you to the Saffell and Page families, Kim, Hannah, Angela, Shernika Winton and Fort Sanders Hospice, 8thfloor. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Rev. James Chesney officiating. The service will conclude with a full dove release.
