Thomas, Mary Wrancher – of Knoxville, departed this life on May 4, 2014 at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1933 to the late Rev. Robert and Emma Wrancher. She is survived by her children, Rose, Emma, Philadelphia, PA, Patty Thomas, Mary (Gary) Montgomery and Willie and Malcolm Thomas; 4 brothers; 1 sister; 1 sister-in-law and other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon with services to follow at 12:00 Noon at Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Richard S. Brown, Jr. officiating and Rev. Ben Hemphill, Eulogist, with interment to follow at Highland South Memorial Park Cemetery. Services to conclude with full dove release. Family will assemble at the home of Mary Montgomery 3121 E. Fifth Avenue. The cortege will line up at  10:00 AM on Tuesday, from 1131 Adock Avenue.
