Jr. Hensley, Milton F. age 83, of Knoxville, TN was called home on Friday, November 22, 2013. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Faithful member of Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. Retired employee of Southern Railway and Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant. Preceded in death parents; daughter, Angela; 1 brother; 3 sisters. Survivors: loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Sarah; devoted son, Gregory (Shelia) Hensley, Sr.; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church from 6:00-6:30 PM with funeral services to follow with Reverend Richard S. Brown, Jr. officiating. Interment to be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway at 9:30 AM with full military honors. Services to conclude with full dove release.

To the family, you have my deepest condolences. I didn’t know Mr. Hensley well but I remember him from when I use to work in the President’s office at Knoxville College. He would stop by from time to visit the college president and I would visit with he while he waited. Mr. Hensley always talked about his work at Y-12. He was a very pleasant person.
