Howard, Vivian Wilkerson – age 84, went to join the Lord after a long illness on Sunday, November 24, 2013. She was born to her parents on February 3, 1929 in Lake Lure, NC. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond “Bo” Howard; mother, Lillie Mae Thomas and father, William Roland Hamilton. Survivors: sons, Raymond M. Howard, John D. (Stephanie) Howard, Sr., Nathan R. (Debra) Howard; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; devoted brother, William R. Hamilton; close brothers and sisters in Lake Lure, NC, sister, Viber Redmon of GA. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon with funeral services to follow at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Christopher Battle officiating. Interment to follow at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Lyons View Drive.
