Baker, Joseph Edward – age 61, passed away suddenly on November 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Missy” Baker, parents, Joseph and Mildred Baker and brother, Thomas H. Baker, Sr.  Survived by daughters, Christie and Jetuan Baker and Jamithia Blevins; grandchildren: Sierra, Kari, Edward “E.J”, Jamison and Amber; great grandchild, Johnathan; siblings, Patricia Hall and Reginald Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law: Jackie Smith, Deborah (James) Hawkins, Michael (Teresa) Smith, Albert Smith and Carey Hensley; aunts, Ollie Cullom and Sarah Green; a host of other relatives and friends to include the Smith, Harris and Hill families, Propak Logistics, White Lily Company and St. Paul Baptist Church. On Friday, November 23, 2012, the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with funeral to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Sanford Miller, eulogist. The interment will immediately follow at Highland South Cemetery where a full dove release will conclude the service. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to American Heart Association.
