White, Bernice Nelson – went to her heavenly home on November 16, 2012. She was a graduate of Austin High School and the proud owner of M& E Restaurant. She was a beautiful and loving mother who cared deeply for her family. She was always willing to lend an ear or more importantly share a few words with anyone. Mrs. White was predeceased by her husband, Elwood “Beefy” White, a grandson, Darius Nelson and her parents.  Left to cherish her memory are sons: Michael Lynn Drew (Rozetta Drew), Mark Anthony (Sigrid) Martin of Columbus, OH and James William Nelson; grandsons: Michael II, Charles “Cortez”, Ryan, James “Pop”, Alex, Parish, Zion and Isaiah; granddaughters: Amber, Michelle, Shaundrea, Tatiana and Pariss; great grandchildren: Michael III, Lynnderia, Uniqua, K’yna, Elijah and Haziah; brother, Clyde Nelson; a host of other relatives and friends to include Jamie Anderson, Katrina Merchant and India Wade. On Wednesday, November 21, 2012, a service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Unity Mortuary Chapel.  Pastor Darryl Arnold officiating.
