Turner, Susie L. – born in Montgomery, Alabama, received her wings on April 18, 2012 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Preceded in death by husband, Jesse Turner; mother, Fannie Curry-Hall; father, Walter Curry; brothers, Perry Shugars, Sr. and Herbert “Bubba Fosters; great-grandsons, C J Debro and Damion Boyd. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Barbara Jean Bowman; grandchildren, Zeste (Valerie) Debro, Melvin Debro , James (Deborah) Bowman, Chris , Lisa, Tina Bowman and Tara Phillips; a host of  19 great –grandchildren  and 19  great-great-grandchildren; devoted friends Robie Thompson, Lisa Broadie and Lori Carver. Special thanks to Fort Sanders Regional 8^th Floor Onocology Staff. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Reverend Isaiah Blackman officiating. Interment to immediately follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
