Mays Griffin – age 61 departed this life on February 26, 2015 at Fort Sanders Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas, Sr. and Rosa Lee Griffin; brother, Thompson Lee Griffin; sister, Virginia Guinn; nephews, Shannon Allen and Aaron Allen, Jr.; nieces, Nicole Guinn and Shandoray Mostella. He is survived by his sisters and brothers Barbara and Aaron Allen, Sr.; Joann Harris, Wilma Buchanan, Douglas, Jr. Marion Kirk and Dolly, Connie, Terry and Virginia, Quanitha and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Unity Mortuary Chapel with service to follow with Elder Chester Green officiating. Interment to follow at New Gray Cemetery with full dove release and blanket presentation.
