Bowman, Barbara J. “Bobbie Jean” born in Montgomery, AL on July 15, 1942, received her wings on May 27, 2013 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital Knoxville, TN. She was employed in the financial department for Goody’s Family Clothing for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother: Susie L. Turner; uncles, Perry Shugars, Sr. and Herbert “Bubba” Fosters; grandsons, Damion Boyd and C J Debro. She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Zeste (Valerie) Debro, Melvin Debro, James (Deborah) Bowman and Chris Bowman; daughters, Lisa, Tina Bowman, Tara Phillips; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; devoted friend more like a sister Evelyn Carter, and members of The Conversations Pit Lounge. Special thanks to Ft. Sanders Select Specialty 4^th floor staff. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 12:30 – 1:00 pm with funeral services to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel.
