Hardin, George Thomas – went home to be with the Lord April 18, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center. Mr. Hardin was born Dec. 14, 1950 in Byington, TN to Dan and Laura Jane Hardin. George was a self employed sub contractor in Knox County. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. George is preceded in death by his father, Dan Hardin and two brothers, Alfred and Danny Hardin. Wednesday, April 11th, 2012Kemp, Walter Jr. – born October 8, 1947 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the union of Mildred and Walter Kemp, Sr. He attended Beardsley Jr. High and Austin High School. He served in the US Marine Corp, 2nd Division 1st Platoon with medals and honors. After 14 years, he retired from Knox County School System. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, one sister and a devoted friend. Friday, April 6th, 2012Arnett, Anna Margaret – of Knoxville, went home Friday morning, April 6, 2012. Anna was born December 13, 1942 to the late Otha Calloway and Helen Maria Houston. She declared her faith in God, her Savior, at an early age. She graduated from LaFollette Colored High School in 1962. For many years, she was employed by Levi Strauss but later retired from Knox County School system (Austin East High School). Anna was a devoted wife of 37 years to Melvin Richard Arnett. As a devoted wife, she also reveled in her roles as mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Arnett had a loving spirit and an infectious smile that could light up a room. Our light is now dim, yet will shine again in the hearts of each person touched by her spirit. She was predeceased by her siblings: Joe Lewis, Jackie, Phillip “Pete”, Dennis and Elma Jean. Anna leaves to cherish her memory: devoted husband, Melvin R. Tuesday, March 20th, 2012Porter Moore, Ciondre’ Terrel “CEE” – departed this life on March 20, 2012. He was born September 27, 1975 to Bescetta Porter and Robert Moore. “CEE” was a loving son, devoted brother and a true friend to all who knew him. He was also the proud father of three children. While working at Diamond Mobile Carwash, “CEE” was known as the man with the cool disposition. Some would say “The coolest cat around,” and the family would have to agree.
