Clemons, Alva Jean (Jean) – age 76, departed this life January 16, 2010 at Parkwest Hospital. Born on March 22, 1933 to John Fitzgerald and Cleo and Josephine Nelson in Knoxville, TN. She is preceded by: parents: sister, Margarette Brown; brother, La Vera Nelson Sr; and a devoted friend, Cliff Love. She leaves to mourn her passing; daughter, Revelta Price; devoted grandchildren, Kevin and Sabrina Price; great-grandchildren, Tyrone Price and Ronnie Johnson; brother, Joe Lynn (Evelyn) Nelson; sister, Paula Nelson; sister-in-law, Gwendolyn Nelson all of Knoxville, TN; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2010 from 12:00-12:30 pm with services to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel. Reverend Steve Simpson, Eulogist. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Clinton, TN. Service will conclude with full dove release.
