Christine Moulden, age 78, of Knoxville, TN, entered into eternal rest with Jesus on April 26, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Louisville, Mississippi to the late Rev. Lee Calvin Coleman and Mae D. Coleman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Wilbert Coleman, Edward Coleman and Gary Coleman; and sister, Hattie Mae Coleman. Christine was a loving and compassionate person who always thought of others first. She attended The Concord Original Church of God and was a faithful member until her passing. She spent 35 years helping others as a LPN and Unit Secretary at Parkwest Medical Center. Upon retirement, Christine enjoyed spending time with family and friends and attending water aerobics classes at the Davis Family YMCA. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 56 years, Hughie A. Moulden of Knoxville; sons: Kenneth Moulden, Kevin (Kayce) Moulden, Christopher (Kimberly) Moulden of Knoxville, and Ronald Moulden of Murfreesboro; brother, Lee Calvin (Lillie Pearl) Coleman, Jr. of Louisville, MS; two sisters: Cassandra Coleman of Knoxville and Annie Ruth Glenn of Louisville, MS; grandchildren: Haylee (Caleb) Ward of Chattanooga, Blayre Moulden and Maya Moulden of Knoxville; and many devoted friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 12 PM to 1 PM in the William V. Powell, Jr. Memorial Chapel at Unity Mortuary, 1425 McCalla Avenue, Knoxville, with Homegoing Service to follow at 1:00 PM. The final resting place will be at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Boulevard, following the service. A white dove release will conclude the services.
