Lockhart, Daniel Sr. – age 90 was called home on March 7, 2011 at U.T. Medical Center. Mr. Lockhart was a member of Rogers Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Union Carbide. He was preceded in death by wife, A. Rachel Lockhart. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughters, Mary (Jerry) Benton, Norma J. Lockhart, Knoxville, son, Daniel Jr. (Kathy) Lockhart, Florida,;  stepson, Freddie Hoskey, Kentucky; sister, Mattie W. Colbert, Alabama,; grandchildren, Ayanna Smith, North Carolina, Jarvis Lockhart, Knoxville,; great-grandchildren, Jakiem Humphrey, Avery Walters and Alyssa McLoed and a host of other relatives. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 12:30-1:00PM with funeral services to follow at Rogers Memorial Baptist Church. Reverend Michel S.E. Caldwell officiating. Interment to follow at Longview Cemetery. Service to conclude with a full dove release.
