Steve has been my right hand man since 1990 when we set up the first Wal-Mart on Chapman. What a dear friend he was to me always. I saw Steve grow from a struggling young guy to an awesome Man & Father & and the love he had in his eyes for Jennifer just made you smile. Back then it was Steve, Kim Bruner, Bobbie Fiegle, Pat Poe, Vincent and myself in Pets & Lawn & Garden. Steve gave them the best years of his life and was always there. I will so miss my strong hugs from him every time l went in there and it will never be the same. Steve l will miss you, but you are in a better place and Jennifer, of course only time will help, but to know how much he loved you and what a difference you made his this wonderful person’s life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.
