MCGLOTHEN, HOWARD of Knoxville, TN- born January 3, 1925 in Hoy, LA. Departed this life on December 20, 2014 at Physician’s Regional St. Mary’s. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Dealia McGlothen; wife, Jimmie Armstrong McGlothen; brother, Harold McGlothen; sister, Ivory Matthews. Leaves to cherish his memory: Loving daughter, LaTasha Hall of Knoxville; grandson, “Grand Daddy Heart” Darren McClellan; niece, Joann (Howard Lattimore); nephews , Walter Earl (Isabelle) Matthews of San Antonio, TX and Milton Matthews of Knoxville; great niece, Tangela Foster of Louisville, KY; great nephews, Charles and Eugene Matthews of San Antonio, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Wilma Scott and the staff at NHC- Holston and Physicians- Regional St. Mary’s. The celebration of life will be held Saturday December 27, 2014 from 12-12:30 PM with services to follow at Foster Chapel Baptist Church 2101 Ault Road Knoxville, TN with Pastor Joseph Tolbert officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery with a full dove release.
