Byrd, Jacqueline Elaine – was born November 1, 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the union of Theron, Sr. and Anna Bowman Byrd, and responded to God’s call to come home on May 29, 2014 at 3:30am. She leaves behind a daughter, Tanya Smith, son-in-law Charles Smith; son, George (Brandy) Byrd and Brandon (Ann) Johnson; 13 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Brenda Pridgen and Carolyn Bryd, brother,  Robert (Delorse) Byrd; she also leave behind Edith (Fredrick) Jackson; Uncle, Rev. George Byrd; aunt, Geraldine Rogers and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 12:30 – 1:00 pm with service to follow at 1:00 pm at Unity Mortuary with Rev. Charles Dexter Ellis Officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Services to conclude with full dove release. The family will assemble at Unity Mortuary at 12:00 Noon.
