Mrs. Gaiter, your loss saddens me. After sixty-six years of marriage I know you will feel this separation, but I am sure you will also feel him with you. What a blessing to all that he lived so long and so well.

I’m so sad to hear of Mr. Gaiter’s passing, but rejoice to know that although he may be missed here, he is at home with his Lord. My father, Charles “Bud” Jenkins worked for Mr. Gaiter many years, and I worked for him for several summers also. We were blessed for having known Mr. Gaiter, and my father considered him a good friend. My condolences on behalf of the entire Jenkins family; our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this time.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
