Mary Lula Cotner Lane – age 91, slept peacefully away to her heavenly home on November 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by husband, Clyde Henry Lane, Sr. daughters, Martha Neal and Mary “Tootsie” Gary. Twin sons, parents, Rev. W.J. (Jessie) Cotner, son in laws, Robert (Bob) Yette, James Neal, Anthony (Tony) Gary, Bishop H.J. Bell. Brothers: William, Franklin, and George Cotner and devoted nephew Bobbie Cotner, and granddaughter Patricia Lane. She will forever be loved and miss dearly by her devoted family. Sons: Clyde (Cheryl) Lane Jr., David (Regina) Lane and Eric (Angela) Lane. Daughters: Mary E. Bell, Rev. Margaret Yette Mack and Jessie (Joe) Downs Sr. 18 Grandchildren, Talethia (Michael) White, Shelia (Stephen) Kite, Scottie (Karen), Clyde, Malcom, Maurice, Erika and Kristin Lane, Maria and Mira Yette, Anthony (Chris) and Rayelene Long, Cherita, Kimberly, Sandra, and Lakisha Lane. 18 Great Grandchildren to include Julia Yette, Kavaughni White, Stephen Kite, Jr. Jeremy (Danielle), Ashley, and Chasity Long. 24 Great Great Grandchildren to include Joshua and Jordan Long, Harmoney Watts and Jordan Caldwell. Brothers, Rev. James (Betty) Cotner, and Walter (Louise) Cotner. Sisters: Elizabeth Cotner, Rev. Helen (Dr. Carl) Locke and Laura Manuel. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and close friends to include Melody Woods and her loving neighbors, Arthur and Tammy Foster. Family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Rogers Memorial Baptist Church located at 520 College St. Knoxville, TN with Homegoing Service to follow at 7:00 p.m.. Officiating by Rev. Michel S.E. Caldwell and Eulogist Rev. Margaret Yette-Mack. Interment on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 11:00am, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa TN. Services will conclude with full dove release.
