Dulaney, Walter Paris, Sr., age 78 of Knoxville, TN passed away at home after courageous battle with cancer. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and later retired from the U.S. Post Office. After retirement he worked as a caregiver. In earlier years he was known as “Funny Bunny” by many children, “WP” by family members and long-time friends and “Paw Paw” by his grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, William & Rosie Dulaney, Sr.; brothers, William, Jr., James, Fredrick and Melvin Dulaney; sister, Edith Dulaney. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by: children, Walter, Jr. (Fiancé-Sheena) Dulaney, Angela Brown, Lorraine (James) Greenlee, Kellie (James) Kennedy, Christopher Dulaney and Tracy Dulaney; brother, Arthur Lee Dulaney; 5 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon with funeral services to follow at Logan Temple AME Zion Church. Interment to follow at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Governor John Sevier Highway location with full military honors. Services to conclude with full dove release.
