LEWIS, RICHARD D. – age 67, of Knoxville, departed this life on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was born in Lenoir City, TN. Preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Jean Lewis; son, Alvin Young; brothers, Rufus Hardin and Robert Lewis. He is survived by: wife, Elizabeth Lewis; daughters: Andrea Young and Ravese; son: Javel; brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas (Margaret) Walker, Lewis (Linda) Haley, Johnnie Thompson, Patsy Parker and James Wilkerson; devoted Steve Cozart; devoted friends: Thomas Hardy, Toletha Davis, and Juvenia Love; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Unity Mortuary Chapel from 1:00-2:00 PM with services to follow. Bishop Kelvin Cash officiating.
