Ella Mae was an angel here on earth. She was so good to our family when she worked at St. John’s Cathedral and we have many very happy memories of her. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love, Jim, Sharon, Kim, Dede and Kristy McCoy
To the Duncan family: I know you don’t know me, but I knew Ella Mae as a kid growing up at St. John’s Episcopal Church. She was outspoken in her love for us kids, and my Mother (Delle Craven) used to say she was “much more than a Maid.” She was always so glad to see us, and when we kids would tear around the church like wild Indians she would “get us told” when we needed it. I knew her until I left to go to college.
