Jerome Maurice Melvine Diaz, Jr., age 23, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. He is preceded in death by one grandmother, three great-grandmothers, one great-grandfather and one uncle. He is survived by his father, Jerome Diaz, Sr.; mother, Kimberly Tate-Diaz; grandparents, Derek Tate, Sr. and Linda Wagner; sister, Teaondra Brice; brother, Anibal Diaz; uncles, Prince C. Gilyard and Salathiel Tate; daughters, Journey Diaz and Jamara Diaz; fiance, Araijah Skinner; and other family members and friends that loved him dearly. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Divine Worship Christian Center, 3702 Knox Lane, with the funeral service to follow with Bishop Chris Holloway, Sr., officiating. The final resting place will be at Mount Olive Cemetery following the service. A white dove release will conclude the services.

Derrick William Jones, age 31 of Knoxville, departed this life March 18, 2018. He is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jerry & Leotra Davis; grandparents, William & Barbara Jones; and grandfather, Willie James. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Donald and Angela Jones; his children, Dazari Beasley and Sincere Jones; devoted grandmother, Barbara J. Wash; loving siblings: Cory, April, Melanie and Jessica Jones; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2:30-3:30 PM, with the Celebration of Life Service to follow, with Pastor Lee Russell Brown, Jr., officiating. The final resting place will be at Mount Olive Cemetery immediately following. A white dove release will conclude the services.
