Edward L. Mason, age 62, entered into his heavenly home on Sunday, February 12, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his mother Angie Mason and his brothers Eric and Reginald Mason.  Ed retired from Triumph Aerostructures in 2012 after 35 years of services.  Ed was always full of life and joy. He leaves to cherish his memory his father: Ervin Mason; loving and devoted children: Roseé Mason Brown, Janeé Mason and James Edward Mason; grandchildren: Jaylin Brown, Janiya Mason, Jazlyn Brown and Jaydin “Puppy” Mason; siblings: Kathy and Angela Mason; sister-in-law: Edna Mason; uncle: Cornelius Mason, Jr.; aunt: Katherine Chavis; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Sunday, February 19, 2017 in the William V. Powell, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Unity Mortuary, with the funeral service to follow at 12 noon with Bishop Zack Flack officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Highland West Memorial.  Services will conclude with a white dove release.
