Thelmarine Brown Steele – transitioned on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Thelmarine was born August 11, 1939 to Claude Brown and Beulah Odom Brown in Athens, GA. She was a beloved member of Lennon-Seney United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Claudine Brown Dodson. She is greatly missed by her husband, Tommy; sister, Dorothy Glass; devoted niece, Donna Johnson; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon  with funeral services to follow at Lennon-Seney United Methodist Church, 2084 Dandridge Avenue Knoxville, TN 37915. Interment immediately to follow at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. Service to conclude with full dove release and blanket presentation.

John Jefferson Lockhart of Knoxville gave his life to God Thursday, September 10, 2015. Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Imes; father, John Jr. Lockhart; sisters, June Williams, Ida Page; brothers, Oscar  and Allen Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory a very devoted niece, Kathy (Cannon) Weston; sisters, Elizabeth (John) Smith, Shirley Rahming, Norma (Cleveland) Drummond, Connie Evans, Regina Green, Joyce Jackson; brother, Vincent Imes; special nieces, Angel Green and Lara Osaro; close friends, Ms. Peggy, David Payne, Della Watson; a host of family too numerous to name and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 12:00-12:30 at Unity Mortuary Chapel with service to follow at 12:30PM with Rev. Sister Elizabeth Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Service to conclude with dove release and blanket presentation.
