Harris, III, Victor Michael – age 19,, departed this life on November 9, 2011. Preceded in death by: father, Victor Harris, Jr.; grandfathers, Calvin Washington and Robert Kyle; great-grandmothers, Virginia Wilder, Mayetta Wells & Minnie Roberts. Survivors: mother, Devona Wilder; step-father, Matthew Johnson; sisters, Vicshyria, Mahala, Ma’Kynzee and Ma’Laun; brother, Jarron; grandparents, Aline Harris, Victor (Earnestine) Harris, Margaret Washington, Virginia Randolph and Joanie Johnson; great-grandmother, Pauline Harris; other relatives and friends to numerous to name. Family will receive friends Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 noon with funeral services to follow at (OBC) Overcoming Believers Church, 5^th Avenue with Pastor Daryl Arnold officiating. Interment to follow Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa, TN. Services to conclude with full dove release.

Harper William Edward “Pee-Wee”- age 53, passed away November 9, 2011 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home.  He was a graduate of Austin East High School, Class of 1975.  William was employed as a tailor at Sears and later worked at the Lunch House and Ideal Cleaners, until his health began to decline.  He was well known throughout the Burlington Community. 

Preceded in death by mother, Carrie Harper and brother Willie J. Harper, Jr. He leaves to mourn his passing: father, Willie J. Harper, Sr.; devoted and loving caregiver and sister, Charlotte D. Moore; sisters, Stephanie Lenoir and Petrina L. Williams; brother, Michael (Glenda) Andrews; sister-in-law: Gloria A. Harper, all of Knoxville; a host of relatives and friends.  Special thanks to Hospice and the Nursing Staff at Hillcrest North.  Special thanks to David Widener RN.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at Unity Chapel.  Pastor Eugene Carter officiating.  The family will assemble at 3607 Ashland Avenue
