A’Zyrain Kai Duncan-Johnson passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Ft. Sanders Regional. He leaves to cherish his little memories: mother, Madaisia Duncan, father, Aubrey Johnson; grandfathers, Carl Rader, Wilson Johnson; grandmothers, Valeria Bindsong, Jamesana Tate and  a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives too numerous to mention. Tawaud A. Mattress, Jr., born August 10, 2015 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Children’s Hospital. Aliyah JaNae Boyd – of Knoxville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony (Jessica) Boyd, Sr. Aliyah was born September, 21, 2015 prematurely and stayed in the arms of her mom and dad for 45 minutes to get acquainted before she went to be with Jesus. She is survived by parents, Anthony Sr. and Jessica Hensley Boyd; brother, Anthony Jr.; grandparents, Traonna and Robert Smith, Jeff and Yvonne Hensley; great-grandparents, Helen Mills (Willie) and Gail Winton; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends of the family. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Olive Cemetery on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffery L. Hensley Sr., officiating.

Tommy Phillip Brabson – age 79, departed this life on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Asbury Place, Maryville, TN. He was a faithful servant of God. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company with 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Love Brabson; parents, Oscar and Margaret (Louise) Brabson. He leaves a devoted and loving daughter, Kristi Brabson; sister-in-law, Jeanette Love Stewart; special cousin, Chester (Mary) Brabson; nephews, Richard (Tonya) Stewart, Lance (Anita) Winton; niece, Vickie (Earl) Williams, and a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Radiology and Oncology Department at Blount Memorial Hospital also to all the staff at Asbury Place. Thelmarine Brown Steele – transitioned on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Thelmarine was born August 11, 1939 to Claude Brown and Beulah Odom Brown in Athens, GA. She was a beloved member of Lennon-Seney United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Claudine Brown Dodson. She is greatly missed by her husband, Tommy; sister, Dorothy Glass; devoted niece, Donna Johnson; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2015from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon  with funeral services to follow at Lennon-Seney United Methodist Church, 2084 Dandridge Avenue Knoxville, TN 37915. John Jefferson Lockhart of Knoxville gave his life to God Thursday, September 10, 2015. Clinton Burns, Jr. – entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his residence. Clinton was born on July 8, 1956 to the late Clinton and Wilhelmenia Burns in Flint Michigan. He was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church where he served on the hospitality committee and active member of the Bible. He was preceded in death by parents, grandparents, sister, Charmaine B. Lattimore; brother-in-law, Dwayne Lattimore.
