Jones<\/strong>&#8211; age 86, of Knoxville, born in Philadelphia, TN to Minnie Lee Jones and Charlie Murdock.\u00a0 When Heaven\u2019s gates opened July 4, 2011, God welcomed her home.\u00a0 She blessed everyone she knew with her loving spirit and kind heart.\u00a0 Mother Sifford was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.\u00a0 Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda L. Harris; sisters, Clara Claybon and Barbara Whaley; brother, Harold \u201cSassie\u201d Jones and grandson, William Andre Ealey.\u00a0 She is survived by a loving family and many friends to include daughters, Sandra (Edwin) Campbell and Janice (William) Wykle; brother, Thomas E. Jones of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law, Carl Whaley of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Kirk and Charles (Anthonia) Harris, Brandon (LaSonda) Campbell, all of Dallas, TX, Zahn C. Ealey of Tecoma, WA, Brian (Doreatha) and Pamela Campbell, Amanda Wykle, all of Knoxville and Patrick Barnes of Durham, NC; twenty-three great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends at Broadway Towers and her beloved Tabernacle Church family.\u00a0 \u00a0On Monday, July 11, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow.\u00a0 Pastor Christopher Battle officiating.\u00a0 Interment will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland South.\u00a0 The service will conclude with a full dove release.\u00a0 Family and friends are gathering at 305 Chilhowee Drive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<a href=\"http:\/\/unitymortuary.com\/obits\/?p=522\"><img width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/unitymortuary.com\/obits\/wp-content\/plugins\/thumbnail-for-excerpts\/tfe_no_thumb.png\" class=\"alignleft wp-post-image tfe\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/a><p>Sifford, Zelma E.
