Hill, age 100 of Knoxville, TN, departed this life peacefully, December 3, 2018 at home.\u00a0She was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she sang in the sanctuary choir. She was also a Member of the Masonic Order of the Eastern Stars.\u00a0She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Hill; daughters, Sharon Carter and Claudia Hill; grandson, Adrian Hill; parents, Adam and Nellie Nelson; sister, Ruth Wilkerson; four brothers and a sister.\u00a0She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted granddaughters, Natasha and Tamara Carter; great-grandson, Adam Hill; nephew, Wayne Wilkerson; great-niece, Tameka Wilkerson; great-nephew, Brandon Wilkerson; and many other loving relatives and friends.\u00a0The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with the Homegoing Service to follow with Pastor Christopher Battle officiating. The final resting place will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
