Born March 31, 1954, to the late William and Lydia Reese. He was educated in the Knoxville City Schools and was a 1975 graduate of Fulton High School. Larry attended East Tennessee State University, was an employee of Robertshaw, Union Carbide and KAT. At an early age, Larry united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by: a sister, Mary Ellen and his late ex-wife, Ingrid Reese. He is survived by: his devoted son, Jerel; brother, Vincent Wayne Reese, Lebanon, TN; sister, Debra Ann Reese; nieces and nephews \u2013 Jamillah and Tamara Reese, Roshan Jordan, Jr., Vincent Reese, Juan McKinney; great nephew, Roshan Jordan Jr; uncle, Bobby (Joella ) Donohoo; devoted sister-in-law, LaVerna Lattimore and numerous other relatives and friends.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\">The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Unity Mortuary Chapel, 1425 McCalla Avenue with funeral service to follow.
