She went home to our Heavenly Father to receive her wings on August 22, 2017. She passed away in her home in the comfort of her daughter\u2019s arms while sleeping. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Jones and her loving husband, Johnny Towns, Sr. She is survived by her children, Mary Towns, Anthony Towns and Johnny Towns, Jr.; and a host of family from the Towns, Porter, Smith, Taylor, Jones and Mills families. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5:00-5:30 PM, with the Celebration of Life Service to follow, in the William V.
