Smith, Sr. She was a long-term member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. McGhee.\u00a0 She served the community as a social worker through the YMCA Kids Help and KCDC. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Marshall Parks and her sister Mary E. Bailey. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Hubert Smith, James (Roseanne) Smith, Darrell \u201cGlen\u201d (Von) Smith, Wanda Smith, David (Terry) Smith, Scott Smith, John \u201cAllen\u201d Smith and Marsha Parks; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5 p.m., in the William V.
