Sanders Regional Hospital. Mr. Stephens was a business man and owned and operated, College Cab Company, Soul Record Shop and other businesses in Mechanicsville Area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Stephens; son, Melton Stephens; parents, W.C. \u201cBob\u201d and Ollie Stephens. He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Pat Harvey; granddaughters, Rebekah Harvey and Michelle Teasley; great granddaughters, Arisa Spencer, Taylor Teasley; nieces, Evelyn Simpson, Thelma Rick, (Chattanooga) and Debra Stephens; nephew, Michael Stephens; devoted confidant and friend, Maurice Rodgers and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Unity Mortuary Chapel with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm. Pastor Cleveland Jackson, officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Garden.
