She was born to her parents on February 3, 1929 in Lake Lure, NC. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond \u201cBo\u201d Howard; mother, Lillie Mae Thomas and father, William Roland Hamilton. Survivors: sons, Raymond M. Howard, John D. (Stephanie) Howard, Sr., Nathan R. (Debra) Howard; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; devoted brother, William R. Hamilton; close brothers and sisters in Lake Lure, NC, sister, Viber Redmon of GA. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon with funeral services to follow at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Christopher Battle officiating.
