He was a faithful member of Greater Warner\u00a0 Tabernacle AME Zion Church. He was a graduate of Austin High School class of 1960. Retired from the University of Tennessee. Preceded in death by: mother, Gloria Easterly Woodley, father, Robert Woodley (RC) ; and sister, Edna R. (Tina) Jacks. Survivors: wife, Vickie Woodley; sons, Garrick and Charles (Chuckie) Woodley; grandchildren, Terrie Roberts, Garrick Bailey\u00a0 and Ashley Woodley; brothers, John (Helen) Woodley; sisters, Harriet Johnson, Ella Chigano, Joann and Diana Woodley;\u00a0 Two stepchildren; 4 step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will meet at 5:00 PM at 2105 McCalla Avenue prior to receiving friends on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 6:00-6:30 PM at Greater Warner Tabernacle AME Zion Church. Reverend George Banks officiating. Interment\u00a0 9:30 AM, Friday, February 5, 2010 at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors. Services will conclude with a full dove release. Family will be at 2105 McCalla Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>The family of <strong>Gerald Woodley<\/strong> wishes to express sincere gratitude for all acts of kindness shown during the passing of our loved one.
