She was born to the union of Donald Graves and the late Mary Lunch Graves on September 4, 1951. She was a graduate of Austin-East High School Class of 1969. She attended Maryville and Knoxville College. She retired from the Knox County School System &#8211; Sam E. Hill Preschool.\u00a0 Preceded in death by: \u00a0husband, Eric C. Gwinn; mother, Mary L. Graves; sister, Donna Blakney; brother, Carlos E. Graves, Sr.; niece, Sonya Sullivan; great-grandnephew, Vent E. Sullivan. Left to cherish memories: \u00a0father, Donald E. Graves; devoted sister and caregiver, Vicki (Michael) Burris, Tamela Griffin; brother, Jerry Graves; step-son, Eric C. Gwinn, Jr.; 2 brothers-in-law; \u00a01 sister-in-law; 1 aunt; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends, Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00-11:30 AM with funeral services to follow at Lomax Temple AME Zion Church. Interment to follow at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 5901 Lyons View Pike. Service to conclude with full dove release.
