Duncan; to this union ten children were born.\u00a0She was predeceased by her devoted husband, sons, Ralph Penn and Charles Crippen, daughters, Janezina Bell and Margaret (George) Manning, grandchildren: Courtney, Darryl, Mark and Robert III. She leaves to mourn her passing: sons, Clarence of Rockford, Ill and Marvin Duncan (Kim Moore); daughters: Anita (Robert) Means, Karen, Marilyn and Tammy Duncan; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; devoted daughter-in-law, Brenda Duncan of Birmingham, AL; goddaughter, Lynn Maples; a host of other relatives and friends.\u00a0Friday, May 25, 2012, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Unity Mortuary Chapel.\u00a0Reverend John Jordan officiating.\u00a0Interment will immediately follow the service at New Gray Cemetery.\u00a0A full white dove release will conclude the service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<a href=\"http:\/\/unitymortuary.com\/obits\/?p=1194\"><img width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"http:\/\/unitymortuary.com\/obits\/wp-content\/plugins\/thumbnail-for-excerpts\/tfe_no_thumb.png\" class=\"alignleft wp-post-image tfe\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" \/><\/a><p>\u00a0Duncan, Ella Mae \u2013 was born March 21, 1925 in Knoxville, Tennessee and departed this life on May 21, 2012 at her home.\u00a0She was united in holy matrimony to the late Charles A.
