    Dear Carmen and Family,

I first met John Paul in elementary school – Fort Sanders – and we went all through school together. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers and thoughts are with you. I saw a notice of his passing on some West High graduate pages and I know those fond memories they shared would make you very proud. I can’t think of a more wonderful person to have grown up with.
